WOODNEST

Treetop cabins overlooking Sørfjorden in Odda, where modern comfort meets raw Norwegian nature.

Architect-designed hideaways in the forest canopy

Woodnest offers four treetop cabins suspended high above Sørfjorden in Odda, designed for tranquility, seclusion, and immersion in nature. Combining contemporary architecture with the traditions of Norwegian cabin culture, the retreat provides both intimacy and adventure. Guests can choose between two Originals cabins and two Mountaintop cabins, the latter featuring bathtubs with panoramic views and beds that lower from the ceiling - a magical way to end the day.

The journey itself is part of the experience: a steep, scenic hike leads to the cabins, where guests prepare their own meals and unwind in silence among forest, mountains, and fjord. With limited capacity and a focus on authenticity, Woodnest is a destination for those seeking a rare and memorable stay close to both nature and Norwegian tradition.
