Inside a traditional, cozy lavvu (Sámi tent), visitors gather around the fire to enjoy warm, traditional meals like bidos - a iconic Sámi reindeer stew - while listening to captivating stories passed down through generations. Local Sámi guides share personal anecdotes, centuries of indigenous history, and insights into reindeer herding, courtship customs, and folklore. Situated just 50 minutes from the center of Tromsø away from city light pollution, the camp also provides an ideal setting to witness the breathtaking dance of the Northern Lights during Arctic nights.
