EKEBERGPARKEN

Art, nature, and panoramic views - a world-class sculpture park above Oslo.

Where Norwegian nature meets international art

Ekebergparken is a 255-acre sculpture and heritage park that blends forest, history, and world-class art just ten minutes from Oslo city center. The park features 48 sculptures and installations by internationally renowned artists such as James Turrell, Louise Bourgeois, Marina Abramović, Salvador Dalí, Pipilotti Rist, and Fernando Botero. Winding forest paths lead visitors through old pine trees, open viewpoints, and hidden works of art overlooking the Oslofjord.

The landscape is also rich in cultural heritage, with traces from the Stone Age, Viking burial mounds, Oslo’s only rock carvings, and remains from World War II. The art collection grows every year, creating a dynamic blend of nature, history, and contemporary expression. Open at all hours and free to enter, Ekebergparken offers a unique opportunity to get lost in Norwegian nature while discovering art and cultural treasures along the way.
